Entrance to our Scheme is shared with Mid Sussex, with ST1 & ST2 posts shared between the two schemes, and with your ST3 year in Brighton and Hove. Your rotations may include posts in:
During your ST1 & 2 years, you will have regular contact with your GP Education Supervisors and will have the opportunity to spend time in their practice.
You will also have regular contact with the Programme Directors and will be able to attend some of the Thursday afternoon teaching sessions which provide a chance to share learning with the ST3 trainees, socialise and have some fun.
In your ST3 year in Brighton & Hove, we have a wide range of practices from small to large in size, inner city, suburban or semi-rural.
We meet every Thursday afternoon during term time for your half day release education programme. These sessions give you a break from your practices and a chance to network and socialise with colleagues. The teaching is a mixture of trainee led sessions and invited expert speakers. Our focus is to support you through completing your nMRCGP, and to prepare you for your life as a qualified GP.
During the course of your year we hold two overnight residential training events, based in a variety of different luxury venues, where we cover challenging topics in depth, and recuperate with country walks, good food, and convivial evening entertainment.
In the meantime, please feel free to contact us for any further queries. The 'contact us' link is on every page.
